Four killed in target killing, torture incidents in Karachi

As many as four people have been killed in different firing and torture incidents in Karachi.

Sources said that a man, identified as Tanveer Baleedi, in-law of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA Sania Naz was gunned down in Lyari Baghdadi by unidentified suspects.

Meanwhile, two tortured bodies of men have been found from a nullah near Hawks Bay.

Meanwhile, a man, identified as Faizan Bangash shot dead his brother over a domestic dispute in the area of Gulistan-e-Johar. His father also sustained bullet injuries and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, three robbers have been nabbed during a police encounter in Shah Latif Town.

According to police, all three suspects, Babar, Ayaz, and Qadeer were involved in different criminal incidents. Weapons have also been recovered from their possession.

Meanwhile, in Malir,  local residents caught a dacoit involved in a robbery and subjected him to severe torture. He was later handed over to police while his one accomplice managed to escape from the scene.

Police have registered separate cases and started investigations.
