Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) leader Pir Pagara is so impressed by the “beautiful people” surrounding him at the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) that he does not want to return home even as doctors have declared him healthy enough to be discharged from the hospital. Talking with some visitors in his hospital room on Monday, the spiritual leader of Hurs said the atmosphere at the hospital is very impressive with so many beautiful people around. “I do not want to leave the hospital but the doctors are saying that now you are fit to go home,” he added. He said that he was more comfortable in the hospital in the company of beautiful people than his home and was enjoying his stay at the hospital but now the doctors were asking him to return home.
Pir Pagara was admitted to the AKUH on Saturday due to breathing complications. Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, former president Gen Pervez Musharraf, MQM chief Altaf Hussain, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad and Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah also inquired about the PML-F chief’s health and sent bouquets through their representatives. Thanking them for their gestures, Pir Pagara said that he may leave the hospital on Tuesday and shift to the Kingri House – which is not far from the AKUH.
