For his last supper at 10 Downing Street the outgoing British Prime David Cameron and his family enjoyed a table loaded with Indian food.

An Indian restaurant in London tweeted on Wednesday that it had just delivered the prime minister his last supper at the Prime Minister House.

Dinner included crisp samosas and spicy Chicken Jalfrezi. “The dishes include Hyderabadi Saffron Chicken, Kashmiri Rogan Josh, Nasheeli Gost, KT Mixed Grill (Lamb and Chicken), Chicken Jalfrazi, Saag Alloo, Saag Paneer, Palak Gost, Veg Samosas, Naan bread and Rice among other dishes,” restaurant Manager Dr Kowsar Hoque told Indian media.

“The restaurant is a firm favourite with politicians across all parties. The residents of No. 10 Downing Street have enjoyed meals from the Kennington Tandoori since the restaurant opened in 1985 and the KT would hope that they continue to do so,” the restaurant said.

The restaurant is a popular eat-out place by politicians who live in the West Minister area near the parliament
