Awami National Party (ANP) Central Secretary Information Zahid Khan Monday criticized PTI-led provincial government for not allowing Official Guest House for a group of Afghan parliamentarians and ministers.
Talking to APP, he said that a group Afghan parliamentarians and ministers came here to express grief over death of former Federal Minister Afzal Lala, but they were not welcomed by the PTI-led KP government which was highly condemnable and against the traditions of Pakhtun society, he added.
Zahid Khan claimed that KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak did not allocate the official guest house for the guests.
Meanwhile he said that KP government has announced public holiday on Iqbal Day, 9 Nov, just to please the PTI chief adding that public holiday created problems for poor patients who come to Peshawar daily to get better medical attention.
To a question about FATA reforms, he rejected media reports about the government committee and said that ANP in consultation with its members from FATA would decide something in this regard.
