A US drone strike on Friday killed six Islamic State militants, leaving three others injured on the Afghan side of the border, an intelligence official said.
“Six suspected militants were killed in Nazyan area of Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province while three others were injured,” it was added.
The night before, several terrorists were killed in South Waziristan in the first night-time strike by Pakistan’s first indigenous armed drone, ‘Burraq’, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) added.
