Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has claimed that incumbent government can go within two or three months and “something was likely to happen” during this time.

In an interview on Sunday, Sheikh Rashid said that this time army will not topple the democratically elected government but some other political party will replace the government. He said that masses are fed up of the policies and strategies of the ruling government as price hike, energy crisis, unemployment and other problems have broken past records.

The AML chief said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was facing serious internal crises and it needed solid measures to pull it out of the problems faced by the party. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is ray of hope for PPP and replacing opposition leader in the parliament Khurshid Shah with Bilawal will be a better decision, he added.

Commenting over the Yemen crisis, Sheikh Rashid was of the view that Pakistan should support Saudi Arabia in the issue and would play positive role for peaceful resolution of the Yemen crisis. He said that after completion of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project, influence of America in national issues of Pakistan will come to an end. China is helping Pakistan to free it of US interference, he added.
