Seven injured, bombers target Police vehicle: Peshawar

In Friday morning early hours, a blast took place near Gulbahar police station with seven people injured, according to police sources.

Initial reports suggest that the security force vehicle was targeted and it was an ERF mobile hit.

Rescue 1122 and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) arrived at the scene.

The blast left seven injured including one civilian and four emergency response force officers; namely Zulfiqar, Khalir, Ilyas and Naik Muhammad. The injured have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, according to local media sources.

The BDS claimed that 2kg of explosives were used in the targeted attack, reported a local media outlet.

Reports have confirmed no casualties so far.
