Police on Sunday recovered 10 kg of explosive material and four hand grenades from a graveyard here in Dera Ismail Khan, local news channel reported.
According to details, police took to Syed Munawwar Shah Graveyard in DI Khan on an intelligence tip off. Upon reaching there the cops dug up a grave, recovering ten kg of explosive material and four hand grenades from inside.
Apart from explosives, officials also recovered some arms.
It was said that the recovered arms and explosives were concealed inside the grave due to the ongoing search operations and snap checking at different places.
Chances were high that these explosives and arms were to be used in a terrorism activity later, told an official.
