Police on Monday arrested a National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) official involved in issuing computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) to terrorists.
Mughalpura Police launched an action against a NADRA official after information from the authority.
The accused official was in contact with terrorists and issued them at least 91 CNICs. He obtained Rs 6,00,000 from the criminals to issue them the CNICs.
According to police, the official was spotted a month ago in NADRA and was handed over to the police.
