Bring it on! Nation is united against terrorists

Pakistan is confronting the challenges of terrorism and extremism and the nation will face the menace of terrorism with unity head-on and defeat it, said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Monday while meeting with British High Commissioner to Pakistan Philip Barton who called on the chief minister to discuss bilateral ties and mutual cooperation between the two countries.

On the occasion, Shahbaz said that the Peshawar terror attack left the nation in shock and grieve. The incident united the political and military leadership against terrorism, he said, adding that his government was ensuring steady implementation of Nation Action Plan to counter terrorism.

CM THUMBS UP BRITISH COOPERATION:

The chief minister also hailed Britain’s cooperation with Pakistan in health, education, skill development and other sectors.

He said Pakistan gives great importance to its ties with Britain. He said Pakistan and Britain enjoy friendly relations.

Philip Barton said that his country will continue cooperation with Pakistan in different fields.
