*Shahbaz says London plan is a vicious plot

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Muslim League (PML) leader Chaudhry Brothers have hatched a conspiracy against Pakistan during their meeting in London, said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif while terming the London plan as vicious and declaring Khan, Qadri and Chaudary brothers as the main players of the plot during his address at the Sher Shah Bund in Multan.

He also said that postponement of the Chinese president’s visit was also part of the London plan.

Shahbaz expressed his anger against the people staging a sit-in and celebrating in Islamabad, especially when people were hit by floods.

He said that the devastation due to floods is the worst since 1972. He announced that the distribution of the compensatory money will start from the September 28 and he will not rest until the life of each and everyone affected by the flood is back to normal.

He also visited the flood hit areas in Hafizabad and Chiniot. The chief minister appreciated efforts of all institutions including parliament members, armed forces for helping the flood affected people.

Earlier, talking to journalists at Vanike Tarar District Hafizabad during his visit to the flood affected areas, he said, after the rescue and relief operation, next phase is that of the rehabilitation.

The chief minister said the relief and rehabilitation of the flood affectees is the primary focus of the provincial government. He was apprised that nearly two hundred thousand people of one hundred and fifty villages have been affected by the recent rains and flood in District Hafizabad.

Later, the chief minister visited the Bek Ahmad Yar village in the locality and reviewed the flood losses.

Meanwhile Multan-Muzaffargarh National Highway has been restored and opened for light traffic.

The road was closed due to the breaches in Shershah dyke during floods in River Chenab.

Temporary bridges have been set up by the National Highway Authority and Pakistan Army at the breaches to restore road connection between Multan, Muzaffargar, DG Khan, Rajanpur, Layyah and the surrounding districts.

  1. He comes from a breed that works on its smelling ability.Yet this breed failed to small blood next doors in Modal Town.
