Malik did nothing in last five years: Shahbaz

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday said that Interior Minister Rehman Malik has done nothing during the last five years, except suspending mobile services. He said that extortion is on the rise in Karachi and blood of innocent people was being spilt on the roads.
The CM said this while talking to a delegation of senior journalists from Sindh. Senator Parvaiz Rasheed, Zaeem Qadri, Khawaja Ehsan and others were also present on the occasion.
Talking to the journalists, the CM said that law and order and governance in Punjab were much better than other provinces. Furthermore, he said that the Metro Bus System had changed conventional transport system in the provincial capital, while adding that the bus system should have been started in Karachi first keeping in view its economic importance.
The CM also said that the country was facing the menace of terrorism, power crisis and corruption, while the interior minister had done nothing in the last five years to bring the Karachi violence situation under control.
