Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Manzoor Ahmed Malik on Saturday shortlisted at least nine names for fresh appointments in the court.
The CJ, after taking recommendations from the judges had shortlisted 10 senior lawyers, including two district and sessions judges for appointments in the LHC. Later, a name was expunged from the list and a total nine names were finalised.
The list will now be presented in the judicial commission’s meeting.
The list includes Irum Sajjad Gul, Aslam Javed, Sarfraz Dogar, District and Sessions Judge Sardar Naeem and Punjab Additional Advocate General Shahid Mubeen among others.
