At least five persons including a woman and four children were killed while two others sustained injuries when roof of a house caved in early Wednesday.
According to details, roof of a dilapidated house located in Tangolti area of tehsil Kabal, Swat suddenly came down burying all family members.
Five persons including Akhtar Begum and four children Abdullah, 14, Aiman, 05, Ayesha, 04, and three-year-old Mari died in the roof collapse while Syed Alam and another woman sustained injuries.
The relatives and dwellers of the area on self help basis dug out the bodies and injured from the rubbles and shifted them to Saidu Sharif Hospital.
The deceased and injured had come from Karachi to ancestral village to celebrate Eid and spend some time there.
