Saviours and suppressors

The torrential rains and floods have created havoc in Balochistan. Eleven districts have been declared as calamity hit areas. The people of these areas are in extreme need of help and support. This is the time to stand by them. Where are the leaders who are all time propagating about the sufferings of their people and presenting themselves as the one struggling for their rights? Where are the slogans of raising the life standards of these innocent and poor people who are fighting for survival?
As reported by media 7,361 people are affected. Pakistan Army and Frontier Corp has been called in for help. They are to launch joint rescue and relief operations. The roads are damaged, so they will have to repair roads to reach people. Helicopters and boats would be used to evacuate trapped people and shift them to safer places. Men in uniform would be risking their lives and helping the old, young and the innocent. These soldiers will forget everything to include their families and self. To help the needy stands above all. They will share their food, their time and all energies.
So now people of Balochistan should also think about their real saviour and the suppressor. They should understand who is holding their hand and not leaving it until they are safe and who are avoiding and keeping themselves away until the difficult time is over. In good times everyone chirps, swings and talks of paradise but in bad times only the one who loves, cares, understands, feels and wants a good future for you holds you and stands by you. It is time to think and change perceptions.
