August 3rd proved to be a vexing day for the so-called lions. The allegations that Khawaja Asif and Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan made on Imran Khan were answered by Imran Khan and a strong counter-strike was made by him asking Nawaz Sharif quite valid eleven questions. No doubt, Imran Khan has put PML-N in great difficulty. It seemed as if PML-N forgot to think about their own deeds before pointing fingers.
But, this blame game is not what the general public is interested in. They need the basic necessities of life. Will there be any day when the leaders will be working honestly for the betterment of the country instead of working solely for their selfish motives?

What purpose is served by this senseless barrage of accusations and counter accusations by leaders of PML(N) and PTI. This country needs a government of laws, not of men who consider themselves bigger than institutions and are unwilling to submit to the supremacy of constitution and accountability.
The only sane voice I have heard is that of Afzal Sindhu who publicly stated that such politics is in bad taste. If only saner elements had prevailed in PML(N) and PTI, and personal egos or biases had not assumed priority over more pressing problems that Pakistan today faces, politics in this country would be healthier and conducive for the greater collective welfare of the people, who are supposed to be the beneficiaries of a democratic political process. For a nation living in darkness, without electricity, no jobs, no security of life and an in the shadow of uncertainty, such a pointless waste of time by politicians does not bode well for future of democracy.
Instead of discussing the economic quagmire that this country has been pushed into by an incompetent coalition government and its predecessor military junta, the opposition parties are too busy abusing each other. What this country needs is an honest and upright leader, not men who create a tamasha in the public’s eye for petty political gains.

PTI has done conferences on Local bodies govt/Rural empowerment and Energy (which is still evolving due to worsening condtion with every passing day). PTI’s economic policy will be announced soon after EID. Kh Asif’s press conf ws totally uncalled for n below the belt. IK had to clear his n SKMH’s name!
Agree with Malik, What good will be done by this worthless war of accussations, other than helping PPP. Both PML(N) & PTI have too many rogues within them, who have a foot in mouth disease. The issue is not whether IK or NS are saints, because they are not, but to provide relief and hope to 180 million, who are living in desperation without any health, security, welfare and jobs, whose life has been made hell by a corrupt coalition during past 4 years.
