PML-N leader Khwaja Asif accused Imran Khan of committing money laundering, gambling and using Zakat funds collected for charity for personal gains and investment in speculative real estate business in Dubai and Muscat which resulted in major losses. Asif alleged that despite opposition from the Board of Directors of the SKMCH, Imran Khan invested US $4.5 million from the collections of sadqaat, fitraana and zakat given by the general public.
In British Virgin Islands, Shell company was first registered that transferred money to HRG in Dubai which then bought shares of Sugarland company worth $3 million facing losses of 64% during 2009-2010 when Dubai’s property boom bubble burst.
Imtiaz Haideri who is one of the members of the board of trustees at SKMCH is also the Chief Executive of HRG and Shell company in British Virgin Islands.
Although the majority of people do not doubt the honesty and integrity of Imran Khan yet there are several questions that need clarification. Firstly, why was Imtiaz Haideri being a member of the board of trustees provided with funds to invest? Why was his company’s guarantee accepted despite losses and over the bank’s guarantee? Why was the record of the meeting of the board of governance and trustees not made available on a public domain? Why is Imran Khan not making the amounts of funds he is receiving for PTI and SKMCH open to the public? What are the sources of income available to Imran Khan for his personal expenses such as traveling abroad and political campaigns? How many funds does PTI have in its account and who is handling the bank accounts?
Who are the board members of endowment funds that decide how to use the money collected from foreign donations?
What justification does Imran Khan have for attacking the Sharif brothers for being involved in money laundering and having Rs 50 billion worth of assets in foreign countries if he himself is involved in money laundering and keeping 700,000 pounds in UK bank accounts?
What will happen to SKMCH fund raising when Imran Khan will no more be collecting funds? What long term planning and strategy has been made by the board of trustees? Which funds are being used by Imran Khan for building universities?
The people of Pakistan want to trust Imran Khan but he needs to earn and uphold that trust. To do that, he needs to ensure that his financial teams use the public’s money transparently.

Mr hussain..at least imran Khan came out in the public and faced all sort of questions related to the SkMch. But i bet Nawz sharif will not answer any of his 11 questions. At least you should show some diligence while criticizing Imran Khan because if he really was cheat then why the hell he would have put the balance sheet of SKMCH on it's webiste? Do u have the guts to question Nawaz sharif to ask for the Balance sheets of his factories and undergound assets which he made during 1980 til now. The only answer comes from him is that he had a rich family since 1930 but where is the documental evidence to proove the jump of 1500% rise in wealth since 1980 till now?
Several fallacies in this article. Most outstanding of which are that Mr. Haideri and his business were scrutinized and approved by the Endowment BOARD of SKMH, not by IK who doesnt even sit on that board. Second, the investment made by Mr. Haideri on behalf of the endowment board has not lost a single penny yet and even if it does, Mr. Haideri has accepted to swallow that loss on his own and not pass it on to SKMH. Third, IK has repeatedly proved that he doesn't have a single penny abroad. Those are just the glaring outright lies stated in this article that I caught on just reading it once. Nice try to demonize the one honest leader in Pak! How much did the dengue brothers pay you to write this? haha. PTI and Pakistan zindabad.

Mr. Hussain is an idiot. Whetever few rupees he got paid by nawaz to write this article, was not worth showing his obvious ignorance. He is accusing IK without any proof to back up his claims. If thats all it takes then I can very well accuse MR. Hussain's wife of sleeping with Hamza Nawaz. Will it make it true? nawaz has never been able to explain the source of his wealth. IK, on the other hand, has specified where his wealth came from. I can't believe that Pakstan Today would even publish such a flawed article.
