A man received severe acid burns after one of his relatives hurled a jug full of acid over him at the premises of City Court.
According to eyewitness, an accused Wajid brought acid in jug to the City Court’s premises and fled after throwing it towards Shahbaz.
Police arrested the accused Wajid’s accessory Arif and commenced interrogations with him.
The families of Arif and Shahbaz are locked in an old feud and they have been hurling acid over each other, according to police sources.
It is pertinent to note here that there are acid throwing cases registered against both the families in Defence and Darakhshan police stations. The cases are pending in courts.
Shahbaz was shifted to Civil Hospital’s Burns Ward.
