The federal cabinet is all set to see a major reshuffle with three former ministers, Raja Parvez Ashraf, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Nazar Mohammed Gondal being administered oath by President Asif Ali Zardari at the Presidency today (Friday).
A well-placed source informed Pakistan Today on Thursday that there was still no official word but all preparations were being made in this regard.
He said the offices for three new ministers were yet not decided but Kaira was all set to make a strong return to the cabinet by taking over the Information Ministry from Firdous Ashiq Awan, who may be given some other office. However, there are also chances that Kaira might be given the office of interior minister vice Rehman Malik who might also be given some other office.
Sources said that PML-Q leader Mushahid Hussain was also likely to be given the portfolio of foreign affairs minister.
