The 2 May incident is the case study of injured ego of our powerful establishment but this is not the first time civilians have been made scapegoat for the injured ego of our establishment, especially if one looks back in history and finds what happened in the aftermath of Ojhri Camp incident and Kargil fiasco when noose around us was being tightened. Pakistan should have been given credit for playing its part in eliminating world’s most wanted terrorist but we changed our stance merely after 12 hours lest ego of our ‘powerful circles’ should hurt. How long will we keep saving the ego of the establishment?
