For the past 11 years, Colgate-Palmolive, a leading multinational FMCG company, has been providing a brilliant platform for youngsters to showcase their creative and artistic skills in the form of ‘My Bright Smile’ global art contest. Held under Colgate’s ‘Bright Smiles, Bright Futures’ global oral health and hygiene programme, this event has been putting Pakistan on the map across the world.
Colgate-Palmolive is proud to give youngsters the opportunity to build their confidence and creativity on an international level with Pakistani children making it to the global calendar for the past 11 years.
This year’s talented winner of the 12th ‘My Bright Smile’ global art contest is Eesha Yousaf from the Lahore Grammar School. Her artwork was selected out of over 19,000 original artworks submitted by children from all over Pakistan, which were displayed at the Alliance Française, Karachi in March. A panel of judges consisting of renowned artists and personalities in the arts and crafts field were called to select the 12 best artworks out of thousands to compete globally. Eesha Yousaf’s artwork was one of the triumphant winners, amongst contributors from all over the world.
Colgate has awarded $250 to the global winner and the schools have been granted $500. Following are the countries which won in this year’s global art contest: Brazil, China, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, United States, Venezuela and Vietnam. Colgate has ongoing plans to introduce more activities related to oral hygiene awareness for children and intends to play a prominent role in developing their creativity and confidence in years to come.
