Pakistan Muslim League Likeminded activists staged a demonstration in favour of the Kalabagh Dam’s construction and against the
electricity load shedding at Chauburgi on Thursday.
A large number of PML Likeminded workers and people of the city gathered at the Green Building Chauburgi and blocked the road for about one hour. The protestors were carrying banners and placards inscribed with different slogans against WAPDA. Protestors also chanted slogans in favour of the Kalabagh Dam and demanded of the government to take steps for the construction of water reservoirs.
The demonstration was lead by PML Likeminded Punjab Information Secretary Mian Asif and other party leaders.
