The 30th March was really a tough day not only for Pakistans cricket team playing the World Cup semi-final at Mohali, but also for the entire nation. The match was witnessed by the top leadership of two countries in a sensational environment besides a large number of spectators. There have been mass assembly prayers in the mosques and at homes. There had also been electronic and print media expressions for Pakistani triumph. The whole nation seemed standing unwavering behind the team.

It has been a history of Pakistan that whenever there was a mega event between India and Pakistan, conventional rivalry became explicitly visible. Whether it is a cricket match or anything else, it is turned into a battlefield. As the two nations are trying to bridge the gap between them in the quest of peace, matches like these offer a good opportunity.
