Defying the court

It is indeed a sad day in the history of PPPs political life that its government has chosen to defy the SCP and embark on an unconstitutional path, to protect the corrupt from being prosecuted.

After all it were the poor downtrodden part of the population which were looted in the Hajj scam, and the state coffers deprived of hundreds of billions in revenues by the systematic planned heist of thousands of missing containers.

Today the elected executive is putting impediments in the working of Supreme Court, so that those who robbed the unfortunate hajjis are saved from the clutches of judicial accountability. The DG of FIA has betrayed the constitution by not investigating the corrupt and government has become his biggest protector. Instead of protecting the state funds which could be used to provide much needed welfare for the poor and weak, the elected government has chosen to protect the corrupt plunderers, thereby exposing their anti people policies. People elected PPP not to usher in a government of the elite, for the elite and by the elite.

Hundreds of billions of rupees have been robbed from the state in the NICL scam, PIA scam, Railways, KPT, FBR, NHA, etc by the nominated cronies and thugs of this elected government and hurdles placed in the attempt by Supreme Court to make these recoveries so vital for giving relief to the poor. The PPP and its coalition partners must fear the wrath of the nation, because they are collectively responsible for what is happening.
