The recent peace agreement between Shia and Sunni groups in Kurram Agency has been welcomed by the TTP. It seems that history is repeating itself. Although the peace agreement might give relief to the local people effected by violence, it is also a given that the terror outfits have always used peace deals as a way to regroup before restarting their violent activities.
Whenever such terror outfits feel they are ready, they break truce and again challenge the writ of the state. It is important that these outfits should be kept under close watch.
