The increase in oil prices has some negative impacts on Pakistan. It results high prices of electricity which most of the people in Pakistan cannot afford. Survival for the poor is becoming difficult day by day. The Government has failed in all sectors of the economy. Corruption has to unprecedented levels. Such difficulties might turn the public into revolutionaries.
The increase in petroleum prices also causes in an increase of prices in of other commodities. The time has come for the government to reconsider its strategies in order to ease the sufferings of the people.
