It is both surprising and a shock that the condemnation for the assassination of Salman Taseer by the religious parties was muted. Political or ideological difference apart, this was purely an act of terror and condemnation should have been unequivocal and from all quarters. It is quite horrific that either our difference of opinion or our fear has gotten the better of us. It is a shame that we are not ready to denounce an act of terror.
