LAHORE - The Board of Studies in Medicine of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Monday approved the schedule for MBBS professional examinations for session 2010-11. LAHORE - Professor Dr Malik Hussain Mubbashar assumed charge as University of Health Sciences (UHS) Vice Chancellor (VC) on Monday. The Punjab government issued the notification of his appointment on regular basis for a 4-year term in accordance with Section 12(1), (2) and (3) of UHS (Amendment) 2009 Act on Saturday. Mubbashar being the founder VC has earlier served as UHS VC for two consecutive terms. Prior to this he was serving as the principal of Rawalpindi Medical College.

The workshop is being organised in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Former Cambridge University Postgraduate Medical Education dean John Biggs will be the chief guest. The workshop is meant for young researchers and medical faculty.

LAHORE - The 52nd meeting of Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) was held on Thursday with Vice Chancellor Prof Malik H Mubbashar in the chair. The board approved the theses' reports of students of MPhil Haematology, Microbiology, Pharmacology and Physiology.
