JCP takes up appointment of two judges today

ISLAMABAD - The Judicial Commission of Pakistan for appointment of judges to superior courts will meet today (Saturday) with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in the chair to discuss appointment of two judges in the Supreme Court.

Commission on floodwater diversions meets today

ISLAMABAD - The second meeting of the commission on unauthorised diversion of floodwater formed on Supreme Court orders will be held today (Saturday) at the office of the Cabinet Division secretary. KARACHI - All doctors working in public and private hospitals throughout Sindh would observe a strike for two hours today (Friday) to protest against the increasing incidents of murdering doctors.
