LAHORE - Anti-Vehicles-Lifting Staff (AVLS) Iqbal Town Division claimed to arrest three car lifters of Ijaz Ahmed Car lifter gang, including the ringleader and seized eight cars and one motorcycle worth Rs 3.5 million from their possession on Tuesday. KARACHI - The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) security team on Friday morning arrested two persons from the Malir area involved in stealing copper wire and recovered about five kg of stolen wire.

KARACHI: The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) police have arrested a gang of four for allegedly trying to steal copper wire from a substation in Defence area. Sources said the police recovered wire cutters and two pistols from the possession of the gang, known as Lalay group, led by notorious Azizur Rehman Lalay and also took a Toyota car into custody. Defence police have registered a case against the culprits and obtained their physical remand until January 21.
