KARACHI - A new westerly-wave weather system that entered Pakistan on Thursday and would remain until Monday could cause widespread rains and gusty winds, said Pakistan Meteorological Department's Sindh Chief Meteorologist Muhammad Riaz on Friday.

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan will have its first on-grid solar system soon as the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is going to install an on-grid solar electricity generation system in less than a year at its building in Islamabad.
