LUMS clinches runners-up trophy in LSE Sports Gala
LAHORE: Lahore School of Economics (LSE) held its annual Sports Gala from 10th to 15th November, 2010. Among the participants were Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and University College Lahore (UCL).
Both male and female students took part in a number of sports including basketball, football, cricket and volleyball. LUMS managed to take home the runner-up trophy even though they could not take part in the volleyball

NA sports body chief resigns
ISLAMABAD: Criticising the federal government for making parliamentary committees redundant, chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Sports, Iqbal Muhammad Ali, resigned from the chairmanship of the body on Saturday.
