Aman Ittehad wants a ‘new social charter’
LAHORE - Aman Itihad held a convention at the Ali Institute on Thursday. A group of people, 'who felt a need of new social charter to ensure the dignity of the citizens,' initiated the conventions by the Aman Itihad two years ago. The key features, which were suggested for the new social charter, were presented in the convention that was opened by Rashida Dohad. IA Rehman, while talking about the 'intense, extremist and militant situation', stressed the need of a 'new social charter'.

‘Imbalanced budgetary preferences hurting social development’

Dry port workers to have social security dispensary
DASKA - A social security dispensary would be set up for the staff of Sambrial Dry Port, said Noor-ul-Haq, the employees union president, addressing a meeting.
He said all-out efforts were being made to solve the problems of the dry port workers with the cooperation of the management. General Secretary Baber Saeed also spoke on this occasion.
Saqib Cheema, Farooq Anwar, Mustansar Yousaf, Mian Riaz, Tariq Jatt, Nadeem Malik and Sheikh Imran were among those present there.
