LDA reschedules Park and Ride auction

LAHORE - LDA has rescheduled the auction of as many as 26 shops at the lower ground floor, besides the space for a restaurant at the first floor of the Park and Ride Plaza on Gulberg`s Main Boulevard.
The LDA had planned to sell the shops through an open auction on March 31, but later deferred it to April 6 due to reason best known to LDA officials. Some 13 ground-floor shops of the plaza have already been sold for Rs211.45 million against the reserve price of Rs185.3 million in

LHC asked to stop auction at Park and Ride Plaza

LAHORE - The Lahore High Court has been moved through an application to stay the auction of shops and a restaurant at the first floor of Park and Ride Plaza, (Liberty Parking Plaza) at Liberty Market.
The plea was moved by Mohammad, Ahmed and other shop owners in an already pending petition against the construction of the said plaza, which the petitioners claim, has been built on the land which originally was allocated for the development of a park.

13 out of 31 shops at Park N Ride Plaza auctioned

LAHORE - On the directives of the Punjab chief minister, as many as 13 out of the 31 shops situated at the ground floor of newly constructed Park N Ride Plaza at Liberty Market were sold through open auction by the Lahore Development Authority on Wednesday.
The reserve price for these shops had been set as Rs. 185,3 00,000 where as these were sold at Rs. 211,450,000. A total of 62 bidders who had deposited pay orders worth one million each for participating in the bid took part

Petition filed against Park and Ride Plaza

LAHORE - A constitutional petition has been filed before the Lahore High Court to question the construction of Liberty Park and Ride Plaza, on the premise that the land was originally owned by Parks and Horticulture of Authority (PHA) for the development of a public park, which could not be handed over to the Lahore Development of Authority (LDA) for the purpose of the said plaza.
