Wheat loss looms as rains dampen harvesting

LAHORE - The floods of last years, despite wreaking havoc, had left the agriculture lands more fertile and the farmers hopeful of yielding bumper wheat crop this year. ISLAMABAD - The Met Office has forecasted on Saturday that a fresh spell of rains will start in several parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
According to a private news channel, a thunder storm was followed by rains in Peshawar on Saturday early morning.
