ADB agrees to lend $100m for Uch-II power project
ISLAMABAD - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to lend up to $100 million for the construction of the gas-fired Uch II 404MW power plant in Murad Jamali district of Balochistan. KARACHI: The multibillion-dollar Pakistan Deep Water Container Port (PDWCP) project is once again mired by the scourge of decades-old "underwater obstructions", Pakistan Today has learnt.
