Power, gas and POL prices set to increase
ISLAMABAD: The government is likely to once more increase the tariffs for power and gas and prices of petroleum products during the month of December, official sources told Pakistan Today on Monday.

GST will raise poultry prices by 40pc
LAHORE: Prices of poultry products would surge by around 30 to 40 percent after imposition of reformed General Sales Tax (GST), stakeholders of the industry told Pakistan Today on Monday.

LAHORE: The Ministry of Water and Power on Monday announced a two percent hike in electricity rates, which will be applicable from November 1 onwards.

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed will today (Friday) take up a petition challenging the unprecedented increase in sugar prices and the government's failure to form any regularity authority to check the sugar cartels and hoarders.
