LAHORE - Master Paints enjoyed a sunny Wednesday in the Cool & Cool Lahore Open Polo Cup, with two back to back wins here at the LPC ground. National Bank, Rijas and Marlboro, too made their presence felt with wins.

Charity the winner in drawn polo match
LAHORE: Guard Group played an improbable 6-6 draw against Bank Alfalah in a charity polo match hosted by the Lahore Polo Club under the banner of an organisation 'Polo the Pakistan' here at the LPC's Aibak ground on Sunday. Prior to the electrifying polo encounter, a tent-pegging competition was organised to entertain the guests who contributed by purchasing the tickets for the rehabilitation of the flood affectees which devastated the country in monsoon a few months back.

LAHORE - The Lahore Polo Club is holding an exhibition polo match to raise funds for the flood effected people of Pakistan.
An official of the LPC said: "Polo for Pakistan is a proposed charitable foundation being established by the Lahore Polo Club with a prime focus on the restoration of shattered lives whenever and whenever needed through collection of funds and proceeds; each and every penny collected from our sponsors will be used for the rightful cause."

Monnoo Polo in PSS Asia Cup final
LAHORE: Monnoo Polo was the first team to qualify for the final of the PSS Asia Polo Cup to be played on Sunday at the Lahore Polo Club's Aibak ground. The organisers hosted six matches Thursday so that list of finalists of the tournament could be determined. Security 2000 won their match on the day and qualified to play the subsidiary final against Goodwill Sweets.

LAHORE: Monnoo Polo, Charbagh and Master Paints won their matches of the PSS Asia Polo Cup on Tuesday here at the Lahore Polo Club. LAHORE: Carlton Tower Hotel cut the combined team of Guard Group and Diamond Paints into half in the final to claim the Novices Polo Cup 2010 here at the Lahore Polo Club's Aibak Ground on Sunday.
Rijas on the other hand claimed the subsidiary final when it edged aside Karachi Polo Team 5-4 earlier in the day.

LAHORE: Miracle, Oratier Technologies and PSS International grabbed comprehensive wins on the opening day of the Novices Polo Cup 2010 on Sunday.
Miracle edged ahead of Sakuf by seven goals to six and a half, while Oratier Technologies defeated PSS International 7-3.
All the four riders Tahir Aslam Awan, Moin Yaqub, Bilal Haider Agha and Raja Amer Khan were instrumental in the Miracle win while Mian Shahzad Aziz and Khawaja Waleed Zubair fought like knights for the Sakuf
