PCB BOG ratifies code of conduct, central contracts
LAHORE - The governing board of the PCB on Thursday ratified the code of conduct for players and the general body members, and also approved players' central contracts for the next six months. The 19th meeting of PCB Board of Governors was held Thursday at the PCB Headquarters and was chaired Ijaz Butt. LAHORE - The Pakistan Cricket Board held a reception at the National Cricket Academy late Wednesday night to recognise the success of the Lahore City Cricket Association teams at various levels in the ongoing domestic season.
Ex-Chairman PCB Shahryar Khan was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed cash prizes to Lahore Lions, Lahore Eagles and the Lahore U19 Women's team. President LCCA Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed received the cheques on behalf of LCCA.

PCB re-launches its official website
LAHORE - The Pakistan Cricket Board has re-launched its official website with a changed name www.pcb.com.pk. The revamped web portal is the only official internet home of Pakistan cricket and the PCB, said an official of the board . A leading IT firm, Future Now Technologies, has partnered with the PCB for the development and running of the website.

LAHORE - Two years after the terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore, the Pakistan Cricket Board is hoping for international cricket's return to the country, with the Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe showing interest in touring Pakistan.

LAHORE - Desperate to revive international cricket in Pakistan, the PCB has written to the Sri Lankan board, requesting it to tour the country this year for a full series. A senior official of the board said the PCB has already started a process to convince the Sri Lankan board to undertake the tour in October.

PCB denies making official request to ICC in Amir’s case
LAHORE - The Pakistan Cricket Board has dismissed reports that it had filed any appeal on behalf of banned Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir with the International Cricket Council. "We have filed no formal appeal as such. Yes, we have written to the ICC about the case in light of the observations made by the ICC anti-corruption tribunal regarding the existing anti-corruption code of conduct laws under which Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Amir have been penalised," a PCB official said.

PCB wants Indian visas for team before World Cup
LAHORE - As Pakistan's cricket team gets back to winning ways, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has applied for their visas to Indian High Commission for this month's ICC Cricket World Cup.
The PCB doesn't want any hassles therefore it has applied for the visas in advance.
Pakistan are not scheduled to play any of their group stages matches in India but in case of qualifying for quarter-finals and semi-finals, they will have to travel to India.

PCB to introduce video recording in domestic matches
LAHORE - The Pakistan Cricket Board will introduce a system of video recording in domestic matches to deal with the growing problem of indiscipline and sub-standard umpiring. LAHORE - The Pakistan Cricket Board has probed the participation of suspended cricketer Mohammad Aamir in a match in Rawalpindi and submitted the report to the ICC.
The match that Amir bowled in was an unofficial match between two clubs not registered with the Rawalpindi Cricket Association.
