PESHAWAR - Police opened fire on a crowd demonstrating against power cuts in Bannu on Tuesday, killing one protester and injuring dozens. ISLAMABAD - The United States (US) broke its previous records of drone attacks inside Pakistan in 2010 which crossed the 100 figure, killing reportedly 930 suspected militants despite strong protest from almost all major opposition political parties of the country.

OKARA - A person was killed while two others were injured in separate road accidents. Reportedly, Pervez Qayyum, a resident of Zia-ud-Din Colony, was going to Okara on his bike with his friend when a speedy van driven by Muhammad Akram hit him, killing him instantly.
