MTFA to host national youth football camp
LAHORE - The Pakistan Football Federation has approved Model Town Football Academy (MTFA) Ground for the national camp to prepare the Pakistan Youth team which will appear in the 2012 Olympics Asian qualifying tournament. The camp will start from January 15 at MTFA.

PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that successful and peaceful holding of 31st National Games 2010 in the terror-hit province was a big achievement of the provincial government and it shows the defeat of the terrorists.

National Youth Weightlifting from Feb 16
LAHORE - The National Junior, Sub Junior and Youth Weightlifting Championships will be held from February 16 to 19 here at Punjab University Grounds Weightlifting Center near Chauburji.

PESHAWAR - The 31st National Games concluded in a colourful ceremony at Khan Qayyum Stadium Peshawar on Friday evening. Khyber PK Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti was the chief guest of the closing ceremony.
The National Games started in Peshawar on December 25, 2010. Around 3500 players from 13 contingents participated in 28 games and seven games were exclusive for women.

National Games declared open in colourful ceremony
PESHAWAR - Amid tight security, Governor KP Owais Ahmad Ghani inaugurated the National Games in a colourful ceremony at Khan Qayoom Stadium here on Saturday.
