Five militants killed near Swat

PESHAWAR - At least five militants were killed in a clash with security forces in border region of Swat Valley, the officials said on Sunday. They said a group of militants attempted to enter Swat when security forces intercepted them near Barikot Town on late Saturday night. Three of militants killed were identified as Sher Ali son of Wazir Zada resident of Aboha Swat, Mohammad Zaib son of Sherin of Mangalthaan Charbagh Swat and Fazal Hussain son of Omar Hussain of Kotha Barikot.
