CCP and PEMRA to curb deceptive marketing

The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) and the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) agreed here on Friday to curb deceptive marketing practices by promoting competition in the private electronic media.
In an official meeting, Heads of CCP and PEMRA Rahat Kaunain Hassan and Mushtaq Malik respectively resolved to coordinate each other in the areas of mutual concern and exchange information regarding anti-competitive and deceptive marketing practices.
