LAHORE - As many as fourteen people including a woman have died owing to cold weather during the first eleven days of January, hospital sources told Pakistan Today on Tuesday.

US drone attacks claim 19 lives
PESHAWAR - Three US missile attacks spaced just hours apart have killed at least 19 people in the North Waziristan Agency, private TV channels quoted unnamed intelligence officials as saying on Saturday.
At least nine people were killed in the first attack, when missiles struck a moving vehicle in the tribal region, the officials said. About two hours later, drones struck the same site again, killing five people who had gathered to retrieve the bodies.

Car race claims 5 lives in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: At least five people, including a father and a son, were killed and several injured on Sunday when the participant of a car race rammed his vehicle into a crowd of spectators in Islamabad's Bahria Town.
According to details, Majid Naeem, the driver, lost control of his car that headed straight into a crowd, killing Suhail Khan, his son Danyal Khan and Babar Ali on the spot.
Two others, Aslam Yar and Mohsin Javed, succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital.
