LESCO to add customers’ cellular phone numbers in bills
LAHORE - The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has decided to add cellular phone numbers of consumers in electricity bills, Pakistan Today has learnt. The move will help the company to compile data of consumers and serve them efficiently. The consumers will be informed about their complaints' status through cellular phone numbers. LAHORE - WAPDA Sports Board organised the annual Inter-Unit Athletics Competitions from March 29 to 31 at the Athletics Track of the WAPDA Sports Complex, Lahore. LESCO win WAPDA Bodybuilding
LAHORE - LESCO won the WAPDA Inter-Unit Bodybuilding Championship by scoring 59 points here on Sunday. NTDC remained runners-up with 45 points and GEPCO got third position with 39 points. LESCO bodybuilder Ishfaq Butt was declared Mr. WAPDA 2011.

LAHORE - The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has adopted another technical way of fleecing customers by sending deflated bills for January, Pakistan Today has learnt. According to sources, LESCO sent inflated bills in December to increase its collections and in January sent bills with fewer readings so that it could charge more units in next month's bills and earn good collections. LAHORE - Prominent industrialist Gohar Ejaz has been appointed Chairman of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) on Monday.
Ejaz, who is also central chairman of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), pledged he would attempt to fulfill the trust placed in him and will hard towards the improvement of LESCO.
He stressed that he would attempt to reform the organisation and procedures currently in place.

LESCO issues bills at a short notice
LAHORE: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) delivered bills in majority of the city areas only two days before the due date, making it difficult for the consumers to pay bills in time, the consumers told Pakistan Today on Wednesday.
