PFF announces attractive prize money for Lyari League

LAHORE - Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)'s President Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat Sunday announced handsome prizes for the finalists of PFF-KESC Lyari Football League.
The final of the event will be played on Monday when hot favourites Lyari Town face Singholane at Peoples Sports Complex, Karachi ( 3 PM Kick-off). The winning team of the 17-day event will be presented Rs 1,00,000 cash while the runner-up will receive Rs. 50,000.

KARACHI - Singolane kept their early goal live for 63 minutes to overcome Bihar 1-0 in the first semi-final of PFF-KESC Lyari Football League 2011 at Shaheed Abdul Rehman Park.

Lahore - Nestle and Descon were victorious in the 1st Raaziq CPL T20 Cricket League here on Tuesday. In the first match, Nestle beat Netsol by 34 runs and qualify for the semi-final. Nestle scored 200 for 3 in allotted 20 overs at Al Bilal Township ground. Farhan Yousaf 58, Waqas Mir 48 not out and Hamid Hayat 43 runs were the main batsmen. Singolane, Daryabad in Lyari League quarters

LAHORE - A drawn game between Winder and Kalri allowed Singolane to sneak into the last eight as two more league matches were decided in the PFF-KESC Lyari Football League at Kalakot's Shaheed Abdul Rehman Park ground in Karachi.
Daryabad earned 2-1 win over Uthal in Group- C to enter the last eight.
The quarter-finalists so far are Daryabad, Hub, Nawalane, Singolane, Lyari Town, Baghdadi and Kalakot. The quarter finals will be played from January 20 to 21.
