LAHORE - A seminar titled, "Role of Media to Protect Culture" was organised at the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on Tuesday in collaboration with non-governmental organisation (NGO) Pakistan Cultural Heritage.

Lahore - A walk was organised at the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on Monday in connection with the World Water Day. "Shortage of standard drinking water is a serious world problem and some LCWU societies are contributing to highlight the issue," LCWU Natural Sciences Dean Dr Kausar Jamal Cheema said. Environment Science Department Chairperson Dr Arifa Tahir was also present on the occasion.

LAHORE - An Inter-Collegiate and Inter-University debate competition was held at the Lahore College and Women's University. The competition was organised by the English debates society. The participant colleges included Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Government College University, Queen Mary College, Samanabad College and College of Home Economics.

LAHORE - International Women's Day was celebrated on Tuesday at Lahore College for Women University's (LCWU) Gender and Development Studies department in collaboration with Actionaid Pakistan. The students participated in various activities including poetry, dialogues, speeches and presentations.
