LAHORE - The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday issued transfer orders of four civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates. According to a notification issued by the LHC registrar, Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate Shahzaz Ahmed was transferred from Vehari to Mailsi, Shazib Dar from Pattoki to Vehari, Waqar Mansoor from Chiniot to Bhowana and Babar Hussain from Chiniot to Lalian.

Charges against PCO judges inexplicable, says Asma

LAHORE - The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Asma Jahangir has criticised the Supreme Court of Pakistan for framing charges against PCO-tainted judges.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Asma said that PCO judges were almost non-functional. However, they are still judges and no court of law had the right to issue a notice or frame charges against a sitting judge of the superior court. 4 SC judges retiring this year

ISLAMABAD - Four Supreme Court judges will be retiring this year after attaining the age of superannuation. These judges are Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed, on May 31, 2011, Justice Javed Iqbal, retiring on July 31, Justice Mahmood Akhtar Shahid Siddiqui on October 13 and Muhammad Sair Ali on December 11.
