LAHORE - The second Chief Minister's Sports Competitions (intermediate inter-district level) are in full swing and have entered the final stages. In Sahiwal, the final girls hockey matches were held and won by Government College for Women Cheechawatni. Qasim promises to revamp hockey structure
LAHORE - The Pakistan hockey team management will be given a free hand during tours and series so that they would be answerable for the team's performance.

PHF Academy face PAF in hockey decider
LAHORE - The final of the 3rd Tray Hockey Championship will be played between PHF Academy and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on January 23 at the Faisalabad Hockey Stadium. The final will start at 2pm.
In the semi-final, Pakistan Air Force beat Punjab while PHF Academy defeated Customs.

National Tray Hockey in full swing
LAHORE - The 3rd Tray Hockey Championship is in progress at the Faisalabad Hockey Stadium. To spot the talented probable players, the PHF has constituted a Committee comprising Rana Mujahid Ali, Khawaja Muhammad Junaid, Khalid Bashir & Ajmal Khan Lodhi. The Committee will observe the performance of the players during the Championship and forward its recommendations to PHF, soon after conclusion of the Championship.

LAHORE - Former Olympians have announced the formation of a Pakistan Hockey Players Association. Former Olympians Rana Mujahid, Shahbaz Junior, Danish Kaleem and Akhlaq Ahmed have put forward the plan to form the association. LAHORE - The Pakistan Hockey Federation has changed the schedule of the third National Tray Hockey Championship and announced the technical officials for the event.
The championship now will be played from January 15 to 27 at Faisalabad Hockey Stadium Faisalabad.

LAHORE - The 3rd National Tray Hockey Championship will be played from January 20 to February 4 at Khushab Hockey Stadium Khushab.
According to an official of the PHF, in case of any change the venue will be Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium Islamabad.

LAHORE: Pakistan hockey team, winner of Asian Games hockey event, was on Sunday awarded Rs10 million in a reception hosted by Punjab Chief Minister, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, at the CM House.
