SC to hear NRO, 18th Amend cases from 11th

ISLAMABAD - Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary on Thursday constituted a 17-member larger bench to hear NRO review petitions and the 18th Amendment cases.
The larger bench will hear Civil Review Petitions No 129 of 2010 (Federation of Pakistan through Secretary Ministry of Law and Justice and Parliamentary Affairs versus Dr Mobashir Hassan, etc "challenging the NRO") from April 11, 2011 and will commence hearing on the 18th Amendment case from April 18, 2011.

CJ constitutes bench to hear Civil Review Petition

ISLAMABAD - Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary has constituted a four member larger bench to hear the Civil Review Petition.
According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, the bench would hear Civil Review Petition Nos 46 & 47 of 2011 in Constitution Petition Nos. 11 & 18 of 2011 regarding non acceptance of recommendation of Judicial Commission by Parliamentary Committee with respect to the Judges of Lahore High Court and High Court of Sindh on Friday.

LAHORE - A Lahore High Court (LHC) division bench on Tuesday will hear a petition challenging appointment of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab Director General (DG) Rana Zahid Mehmood.
